Tanwen Coyne’s The Dreamers is our first Saffron romance, a spine-tingling paranormal novella for our lesbian fiction line.
The Dreamers
When Jennifer inherits a remote cottage in Wales, she soon senses that she isn’t alone. But whatever ghostly presence watches while she sleeps, it is not malign. Indeed, as the days go by and Jennifer draws ever closer to her new friend, she begins to realise that the presence in her cottage is both feminine … and erotic.
A young bisexual writer, Tanwen Coyne divides her time between Wales and the North West of England, and feels a strong connection with the Welsh side of her family. As a student reading for a degree in Creative Writing, Tanwen says, ‘I’m thrilled and delighted to be publishing The Dreamers with Embrace Books.’ Although she has been writing for some time, The Dreamers will be her first publication.
Tanwen Coyne told us: ‘The beauty, the music and the people of Wales themselves inspired me to write The Dreamers. I was on holiday in a small Welsh cottage and I began to wonder who might have lived there in the past, the secret romances that might have taken place in such a remote location … That’s how Jennifer and Arianwen’s story came about.’
The Dreamers will be published by Embrace as part of our Saffron series in Spring 2011.
