How hot can you write?
We need to see page-scorching intensity and deeply-felt erotic romance in our After Dark stories. These romances are primarily intended for a female readership and should include an element of ‘happy-ever-after’.
After Dark romances can be contemporary, historical or paranormal, and be written from either a heterosexual or gay/bisexual perspective, with in-depth characterisation and quality writing as paramount. Threesomes and other twists on the traditional are allowed, but please remember the romance feel-good factor.
For novels (up to 65K) please send a synopsis, a brief overview or blurb, your writing CV and first 3 chapters to jane@embracebooks.co.uk
For novellas (15-25K) or short stories (8-15K), please send synopsis, brief overview, CV and the FULL ms.
All submissions will be acknowledged by email within 7 days of receipt. Please include your name (or pen-name) and ms title on EVERY page.
